Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Senior Engineer in Site Reliability to join our Reliability Engineering team in Creve Coeur, MO. You will own the availability, performance, and scalability of critical shared services, partnering with developers to improve reliability and release velocity.

The role emphasizes on-call, incident response, automation, and observability using Datadog, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, with experience across AWS/Azure and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior application support experience with a focus on site reliability engineering.
• Experience with scripting languages such as: Shell, Python, or similar.
• Experience in maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Hands on Experience with one of the following cloud platforms: Azure/AWS.
• Knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Observability tools like Datadog, Dynatrace or similar.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Incident response and running blameless post‑mortems.
• Proficient in Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own availability, performance, and scalability of critical shared services.
• Write automation to scale systems and recover service quickly.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, observability, and release velocity.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and postmortems.
• Champion strong engineering practices for scalable, reliable services.
• Assist cloud migration with architectural reviews and testing.
