Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance reliability across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. You will lead incident responses, drive problem management, and implement automation to reduce downtime, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will standardize observability practices, mentor SREs, and contribute to enterprise reliability frameworks, while guiding architecture and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
• Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages and software architecture.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead major incident responses and drive cross-team technical resolution.
• Architect and deliver automation to reduce toil and MTTR.
• Standardize observability practices and dashboards.
• Mentor SREs and contribute to enterprise reliability frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and risk teams.
