Job summary

Sight Machine, Inc. is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure engineer to drive reliability, automation, and scalability across the platform. You will work at the intersection of SRE practices, IaC, CI/CD, and AI-driven workloads, influencing architecture and mentoring engineers.

This is a senior IC role with hands-on coding and incident response, reporting to the Cloud Infrastructure Team. You’ll lead efforts around AI/LLM orchestration, monitoring, and automation, and you’ll collaborate with

Qualifications

10+ years designing, building, or operating agentic AI/LLM systems in production with quality-first discipline.
Demonstrates security-first culture in all work.
10+ years of Kubernetes/Docker experience across major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
10+ years coding experience and building tools used by engineers, not just scripts.
10+ years with IaC and CI/CD tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, FluxCD or similar).

Responsibilities

Lead reliability reviews for new services before production.
Architect and operate infrastructure for agentic AI workloads and LLM gateway routing.
Design, build, and monitor AI-driven services with scalable tooling.
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and drive cross-team initiatives for stability.
