Job summary

Highrise AI is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to expand the AI Infrastructure Service Operations team across Networking, Compute, and Storage. The role emphasizes deep multi-platform expertise, automation, and customer-focused reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating compute, networking, and storage at scale.
• Experience with 24x7 environments and production systems.
• Experience with OpenStack or similar private cloud stacks.
• Strong networking knowledge: VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, NSX or SDN.
• Scripting and automation; basic database concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage compute, storage, and network resource pools to meet SLA commitments.
• Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and lifecycle management.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and impact mitigation.
• Respond to service impacts during business hours and on-call rotation.
• Lead incident management and drive prevention actions.
• Create and maintain runbooks and documentation.
• Collaborate with customers to understand use cases and improve reliability.
