Job summary

Sight Machine is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to drive reliability, automation and scalability for its AI-driven platform. You’ll lead IaC, CI/CD, observability, and on-call incident response, while mentoring engineers and shaping architecture across teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years building production systems with Kubernetes/Docker, cloud providers, and a strong coding background in Python/Go/Java.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing, building, or operating large-scale systems in production.
• Strong Kubernetes/Docker in major cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Java and building developer tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability practices and incident response for AI-driven workloads.
• Design, build, and operate infrastructure for agentic AI workloads and LLM gateways.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team initiatives to improve stability and availability.
• Create and improve monitoring, alerting, and runbooks for critical services.
