Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Sprinkler Design Manager to support the Sprinkler Designers and Trainees. The role focuses on growing Sprinkler Operations revenue, ensuring profitability, meeting customer requirements, and upholding NFPA standards.

You will report to the Sr. Design Manager and collaborate closely with the Sprinkler Design staff. The position requires extensive sprinkler design expertise, management experience, and the ability to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sprinkler design experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in a management position required.
• Knowledge and experience with AutoSprink and/or HydraTec systems required.
• Experience with Navisworks and basic knowledge of Revit required.
• Knowledge of NFPA guidelines required.
• Travel to customer sites by plane or vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Attend sprinkler design meetings as needed and review drawings in design phase.
• Assist layout technicians across offices and complete design items for each project.
• Coordinate with sales, project managers, and designers to obtain information.
• Provide technical design guidance to owners, architects, and contractors.
• Train new design trainees and complete red line drawings to meet codes.
