Job summary

(St. Peters Post Acute) St. Peters Community Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and lead therapy services in our post-acute facility.

You will supervise CFY/Students, maintain documentation in medical records, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, provide staff in-services, and educate residents and families on goals, home programs, prevention strategies, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CPR certification as required by licensure.
• Proficient in electronic documentation and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians, families, and staff.
• Complete timely documentation per requirements.
• Provide in-services and training for staff as needed.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home programs.
• Ensure safe treatment environment and infection control.
