Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead and deliver compassionate patient care. You will mentor staff, participate in education programs, and supervise SLP assistants in a collaborative inpatient rehab setting.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development, with day-one benefits and a strong team culture at a national rehabilitation leader.

Formación

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in speech therapy or management; Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient’s physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Assisting with speech language in-service education and our speech language pathologist student program.
• Mentoring and training new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegating and supervising speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
