Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead a compassionate team and guide patients through speech and communication recovery.

You will mentor staff, oversee student programs, supervise assistants, and coordinate care with a patient-centered approach, leveraging advanced technology and a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state license for Speech Therapy (SLP).
• CCC certification and CPR/BLS required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's/Doctorate preferred in Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and develop therapeutic relationships.
• Lead and mentor staff; oversee SLP students and education programs.
• Supervise SLP assistants and therapists to ensure quality care.
• Support patient-centered goals and celebrate progress throughout recovery.
