Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for Primary Care – Repatha in the Los Angeles area. You will serve as the primary customer contact, communicating clinical benefits to medical professionals and navigating payer environments.

The role requires building relationships, delivering branded messages, and promoting Amgen products while aiming to exceed sales targets. Relocation is not offered and hybrid/remote options may be available where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales/clinical experience OR
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales/clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct educational programs to achieve sales targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts and manage reimbursement issues and contracts.
• Give feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and maintain patient-centered focus.
• Uphold Amgen values and maintain high ethical standards and teamwork.
