Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote branded products, and navigate payer environments. You will implement sales strategies under the District Manager, deliver education programs, and drive territory growth with a patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes comprehensive product knowledge, relationship-building with accounts, and collaboration across teams to achieve performance targets while upholding Amgen

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Specialty Representative.
• Associate degree plus 4 years of Sales experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales/clinical experience for Senior Specialty Representative.
• Associate degree with 6 years of sales/clinical experience.
• High school diploma with 8 years of sales/clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits.
• Deliver branded sales messages and promotions to achieve territory targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Share best practices and collaborate with colleagues to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values.
