Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve patients in Alabama and connect with medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products and guiding payer navigation to improve access.

You will implement marketing strategies, promote products, build accounts, and develop territory plans with the District Manager while upholding Amgen values and maintaining patient focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of sales experience OR high school diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales/clinical healthcare experience OR equivalent.
• Preferred: 3+ years of sales in pharma/biotech or medical devices; established territory relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct educational programs to meet targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts and manage product access and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and maintain patient focus throughout the sales cycle.
