Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialist to connect with medical professionals and navigate payer environments while delivering our branded products. You will lead educational programs, communicate clinical benefits, and support access and reimbursement to maximize patient care.

The role requires strong sales capabilities, healthcare knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales/clinical experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR High school diploma and 8 years of sales/clinical experience
• Preferred Qualifications include pharma/biotech sales experience, oncology, cardiology, inflammation, and related medical fields; strong relationship-building and adaptability are valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits.
• Deliver branded sales messages, conduct planned programs, and support education initiatives to achieve sales targets.
• Develop accounts, discuss access and reimbursement, and manage contracts while aligning with district strategy.
• Contribute feedback on marketing strategy and territory planning with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive outcomes for patients and stakeholders.
