Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to be the primary contact for medical professionals, providing clinical knowledge and promoting Amgen products while navigating the payer environment.

You will implement marketing strategy, promote products, and develop territory plans with the District Manager, building relationships to ensure product access and favorable reimbursement across assigned regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in science/business
• Associate's degree with 4 years of sales experience
• High school diploma with 6 years of sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
• Deliver branded sales messages and achieve or exceed sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop relationships to manage accounts including discussions on product access and reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and learn and grow in the role
• Demonstrate passion for products and maintain that passion through the sales cycle
• Uphold Amgen values and ethics in all interactions
