JP Morgan Chase in Columbus, OH, seeks a Special Credits Director for the Commercial Solutions team. You will lead a team of Special Credits Officers managing distressed credits, shaping strategies, and reporting to senior leadership on workout actions and recovery plans.

The role requires deep experience in commercial lending, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to mentor staff while coordinating with banking partners, borrowers, and counsel to optimize risk and recoveries.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field.
10+ years' commercial banking / lending experience.
Experience in asset-based lending and automotive sectors.
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of bank policies and risk management.

Mansioni

Lead a team of Special Credits Officers who formulate strategies and present recommendations to internal and senior management on distressed situations in either an advisory or managed capacity.
Interface with the banking team, borrowers, financial advisors, and outside counsel to generate optimal repayment solutions.
Demonstrate expert understanding of workout processes, client engagement, negotiation strategies, and proper reporting to management.
Own Credit Surveillance process, accounting and regulatory reporting on portfolio names, including reserving and charge-off analysis.
Collaborate, build, and maintain strong partnerships across the organization.
Mentor, coach, train, and develop the Special Credits team.
Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and oversee Credit Officer resources and credit packages.
