Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent; degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred.
• Eight or more years credit experience in commercial banking or finance.
• Highly professional credit and risk analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and partners.
• Strong skills in financial/risk analysis and problem solving.
• Experience managing a complex commercial client portfolio.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; bankruptcy knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of highly complex accounts under supervision.
• Interact with difficult credit relationships and clients.
• Analyze industries and peers to inform credit reports.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and consultants.
• Oversee credit transactions, approvals, and data entry.
• Prepare loan documents, forbearance agreements, and guarantees.
• Structure workout strategies and negotiate with clients.
• Monitor collateral, covenants, and client performance.
• Ensure risk management and compliance with policy.
• Mentor junior staff and Credit Analysts.
