Fifth Third Bank seeks a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead a highly complex commercial portfolio within Special Assets. You will review financial statements, monitor risk, and coordinate with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers to propose credit structures and workout strategies.

Formación

• Eight or more years credit experience in commercial banking or finance.
• Experience with credit analysis, loan review, and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Portfolio management experience with complex clients.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy law.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Emotional intelligence under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of highly complex accounts supporting the Senior Director, Team Lead, and Workout Officers, relying on deep experience with credit analysis, loan review and banking.
• Client contact with difficult credit relationships, including confrontational situations.
• Analyze industries and peer groups to determine drivers and impact on participants for credit reports.
• Interact with outside counsel and consultants as needed.
• Coordinate credit transactions from approval through processing in internal systems.
• Prepare, review and negotiate loan documents, forbearance agreements and guarantees.
• Structure workout strategies and negotiate with clients.
• Monitor collateral and covenants; track risk and performance.
• Ensure risk management and compliance per bank policies.
• Mentor Credit Analysts and junior Portfolio Managers.
