Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Special Assets Senior Portfolio Manager to lead a highly complex commercial portfolio within the coverage team. You will review financial statements, monitor risk, and collaborate with Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers to develop workout strategies and appropriate credit structures.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Eight or more years of credit experience in commercial banking or finance.
• Strong credit and risk analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Experience managing a complex commercial portfolio.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Emotional intelligence under pressure.

Mansioni

• Manage a portfolio of highly complex accounts in coordination with SAG team and Workout Officers.
• Interact with clients, outside counsel and consultants in negotiations.
• Analyze industries and peer groups to determine drivers for credit reports.
• Oversee credit transactions process from approval through to systems updates.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate loan documents and forbearance agreements.
• Develop workout strategies and negotiate with clients.
• Monitor collateral, covenants and ongoing business performance.
• Ensure risk management and compliance per bank policies.
• Mentor junior staff and credit analysts.
