Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead schedule, budget, and change coordination for the MK2 Lunar Lander program. You will partner with engineering, production, and program management, driving risk mitigation and metric reporting while ensuring on-time delivery and technical performance.

Based in Merritt Island, FL, you will mentor teams, manage configurations, and support lifecycle activities from development to sustaining production, contributing to safe and reliable spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing/developing/supporting complex engineered products.
• 5+ years in project management, system integration, or technical trade management.
• Experience with multi-functional product development teams and external manufacturers.
• Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible work status.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule adherence and budget per MK2 deliverable.
• Monitor resources and program costs for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain program timelines and financial targets.
• Coordinate vehicle configuration management and change tickets.
• Develop program metrics and dashboards.
• Prepare performance-to-plan reporting for reviews.
• Serve as liaison between engineering, production, supply chain, and PM.
