Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida seeks a Senior Project Engineer to drive operational excellence for the MK2 team under the Lunar Permanence unit. You will develop and report program metrics, coordinate with product, engineering, supply chain, and production to ensure timely delivery across lifecycle stages from NPI to sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and relevant certifications as applicable.
• Minimum 5+ years designing/developing or supporting complex engineered products.
• 5+ years of project management or system integration experience.
• Experience with multi-functional product development teams and external manufacturers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate implementation of program objectives across product teams with quality standards.
• Communicate and support the execution of vision, goals, priorities, and performance across MK2.
• Collaborate with management, engineering, supply chain, and production to integrate development efforts.
• Drive product lifecycle from development to mature production with external partners.
• Develop and release program metrics and dashboards for decision-making.
• Report program status and critical path items to management and executives.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and coordinate reporting content.
