Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Manager of Vehicle System Engineering and Integration for the MK2 Crew Lander. You will lead a team of systems engineers, overseeing integrated design, verification, validation, and certification to advance spaceflight objectives.

You will implement agile System Engineering practices; prioritize safety, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across the vehicle’s development lifecycle, shaping future lunar missions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing people and developing teams.
• Experience leading integrated technical teams delivering complex systems.
• Subject matter expertise in system engineering and integration including requirements, analysis, verification and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of systems engineers and foster career development.
• Control the technical baseline for the Crew Lander balancing cost, schedule, and risk.
• Manage requirements, interfaces, validation, and control.
• Oversee system safety definition and analysis across vehicle systems.
• Define and execute verification, validation, and certification for Crew Lander systems.
• Establish tools and best practices for System Engineering and Integration; mentor staff.
• Implement agile project management with iterative deliverables to support vehicle goals.
