Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the TeraWave Spacecraft Systems Engineering team. You will help shape requirements, architecture, interfaces, and con ops to meet program needs, collaborating with AI&T, Mission Systems, Launch Vehicle, Payloads, and Mission Operations.

The role emphasizes decomposing requirements, defining verification plans, and overseeing test execution to ensure mission success across subsystems.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in systems engineering in space industry.
• 5+ years in design, development and flight test of spacecraft systems.
• Experience defining space system requirements and concept definitions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with design standards, processes, and best practices.
• Decompose high-level requirements into lower-level system architecture and design requirements.
• Coordinate with subsystems for verification and validation plans.
• Oversee verification strategies, plans and test execution across hardware and software.
• Collaborate across program elements to deliver holistic spacecraft solutions.
