Job summary

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 8+ years in loads analysis, with strong NASTRAN/MATLAB skills, and experience in high-performance computing tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in loads analysis.
• Experience with finite element modeling and physics-based methods.
• Proficiency in NASTRAN and MATLAB for analyses and scripting.
• Ability to communicate technical results to diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CLA analyses for launch vehicles with cross-discipline inputs.
• Document CLA results for internal and external customers.
• Refine FE models and correlate with modal tests.
• Reduce FE models using Component Modal Synthesis methods.
• Create mathematical models and simulations for loads analysis.
• Manage large data sets and post-process results for engineering use.
