Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Integration and Test team supporting the Electrical Test Team. You will plan, lead, and execute vehicle-level electrical tests for spaceflight hardware, partner with design and systems engineers, and drive safety and quality across test campaigns.

Requirements include a BS in a related technical field and 5+ years in space vehicle electrical testing, with proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop test plans and procedures for vehicle level testing.
• Lead daily test operations, operate test consoles, direct technician work and coordinate with internal customers.
• Apply experience to component or integrated vehicle test planning and execution of vehicle electrical test.
• Conduct acceptance testing including power-on, functional, performance, acceptance, and qualification.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during testing.
• Reduce, analyze, and archive test data to support verification tasks.
• Coordinate test crews, support equipment and vehicle configurations for testing.
• Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations.
