Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle seeks a Sr. Electrical Integration Engineer to lead the design, build, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure for the Vehicle Test Bench (VTB) and Flatsat. You will drive DFM/DFT feedback and coordinate across mechanical, electrical, and test teams.

You will integrate flight hardware, simulators, and EGSE, verify interfaces, and ensure power distribution, grounding, and shielding compliance. 7+ years in aerospace electrical integration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in electrical integration or related aerospace roles.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and ICDs.
• Hands-on harness fabrication and rack wiring experience.
• Experience with power distribution, grounding, shielding, and signal integrity.
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and install rack wiring and cable harnesses for VTB and Flatsat.
• Integrate flight hardware, simulators, EGSE into bench.
• Verify interfaces against ICDs.
• Verify power distribution, grounding, and shielding per standards.
• Provide DFM/DFT feedback during design reviews.
• Support Electrical Test team for interface verification.
• Maintain ESD, FOD, torque records across bench electrical work.
• Coordinate with EGSE Electrical Engineers on interface requirements.
• Investigate anomalies and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in design reviews for electrical testability.
