Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville seeks an experienced Electrical Test Engineer for the In-Space Systems unit to lead testing of spacecraft electrical systems. You will architect test plans, oversee test campaigns, and coordinate with design teams to verify requirements and ensure safe, reliable flight hardware.

The role requires a BS in a related technical field and 3+ years of post‑graduate experience testing flight hardware, with proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, and C++.

Qualifications

• BS in a related technical subject area.
• 3+ years of post-graduation engineering experience.
• Experience testing aerospace flight hardware for NASA/DoD/Commercial Space.
• Experience developing test infrastructure drawings and testing spacecraft hardware.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, architect, and coordinate resources to test spacecraft electrical systems.
• Test flight hardware and integrated spacecraft.
• Conduct design reviews and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with design engineers to implement verification requirements.
• Identify and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.
