Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior Engineering Specialist to lead systems integration across satellite, ground, and cyber programs. You will guide test planning, verification, and acquisition support, coordinating with Government, SETA, and contractor teams in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements include a BS in engineering or related field, 12+ years in systems engineering or program management, and a current TS/SCI clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences.
  • 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in systems engineering or program management.
  • Knowledge of space and space-related systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to form and lead teams.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic Program Office with govt/FFRDC/SETA personnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; travel required.
  • Current TS/SCI or equivalent clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge test and integration methodologies.
  • Lead coordination and integration across Government, SETA, and contractor teams.
  • Provide comprehensive systems engineering and integration expertise across lifecycle phases.
  • Direct test planning and execution activities including architecture and verification.
  • Support requirements development and validation with verifiable requirements and models.
  • Deliver integration support through reviews, investigations, and acquisition support.
