Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Program Manager for the In-Space Systems PMO to manage complex program deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks from pre-solicitation through launch and ops.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain, and drive recovery plans to meet program objectives with a strong emphasis on safety and mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or engineering or equivalent in years of experience.
• 8+ years of experience in program management and/or program planning in the aerospace industry.
• Experience working on Aerospace Development Programs and/or Space Systems.
• Strong understanding DFARs based contracts.
• Experience in structured environments and building structured cultures.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for execution and management of program deliverables, performance to plan, and completion of customer statement of work.
• Manage contractual data requirements lists and deliveries; support scope definition and baselining/budget management; build customer relationships from pre-solicitation through launch/delivery/ops.
• Prioritize weekly and monthly tasking across multiple organizations and functions within the project.
• Lead financial performance of accounts at the program level and for subsystem leads.
• Organize and conduct staff meetings, operating reviews, and quarterly/annual planning cycles; track action items.
• Lead the Program Planning & Control, Finance, Procurement, Cost Engineering teams to establish baselines and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations and issue reconciliation.
• Represent BU/PL interests on proposal efforts with scope, price vs cost, and resource allocation.
