Job summary

Blue Origin's TeraWave Spacecraft Bus team seeks a Senior Power Electronics Engineer focused on power distribution. You will own the Dual Voltage Distribution Box (DVDB) from requirements through production release for thousands of units, balancing space-grade reliability with cost and manufacturability.

You will lead circuit design, telemetry architecture, and qualification activities, collaborating with systems engineering, fault management, and manufacturing to deliver flight-ready hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on electronics hardware development experience.
• Experience with power distribution architectures in space or high-reliability settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead circuit design for the Dual Voltage Distribution Box (DVDB) including SSPCs and fault isolation.
• Define load switch sequencing and fault response with Fault Management and C&DH teams.
• Own DVDB telemetry architecture and health monitoring interfaces.
• Derive and maintain DVDB hardware requirements and ICDs with Systems Engineering.
• Drive DFM/DFT and transition ATE from development to production.
