Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to own the Solar Array Regulator design for the TeraWave Spacecraft Bus. You will drive SAR from requirements through circuit design, qualification, and production release, balancing reliability with cost for thousands of units.

You will lead hardware development, support integration, and coordinate with thermal, structures, and avionics teams to ensure robust, manufacturable, high‑reliability power systems for space applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
• Minimum 7+ years hands-on electronics hardware development experience.
• Experience with solar array regulation topologies in space or high-reliability power systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead circuit design for Solar Array Regulator including high‑voltage topology development.
• Characterize electrical performance across illumination angles and temperatures to set design margins.
• Define thermal dissipation requirements and collaborate with thermal teams.
• Maintain SAR design package, ICDs, and specifications with systems engineering.
• Drive single‑point failure elimination and support qualification campaigns.
