Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead contract administration across government and commercial programs from Chantilly, VA. This Senior role requires deep experience in DoD contracts, OTAs, and FAR/DFARS, plus the ability to guide proposals and liaise with internal teams.

A Top Secret/SCI clearance is expected. The position emphasizes accuracy, fast-paced delivery, and building strong relationships with government and internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of contract administration/management experience in Space/A&D.
• Extensive knowledge of Government contracts and contract types, OTAs, FAR/DFARS.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
• Experience with DoD prime contracts/subcontracts and DoD programs.
• RFP analysis and proposal preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and IP licenses.
• Review and interpret contract provisions and agreement types for stakeholders.
• Analyze terms for program implications and communicate insights to leadership.
• Serve as primary interface for contract compliance issues, including changes and disputes.
• Assist in proposal review and response to Government and commercial solicitations and RFIs.
• Create and maintain contract files and relationships with government and customers.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with invoicing and payments.
