Job summary

Rocket Lab Optical Systems in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior Contract Manager to negotiate and administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, TEAMING agreements, and IP licenses. You will review contract provisions, interpret terms, and brief leadership on implications for programs and the corporation.

The role requires top-tier knowledge of FAR/DFARS, OTAs, and DoD contracting, with the ability to manage complex proposals, changes, disputes, and payments while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of contract administration and/or management experience in Space and/or Aerospace & Defense industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Government contracts and contract types, OTAs, FAR/DFARS.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions and managing DoD prime contracts/subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts and IP licenses.
