Job summary

Rocket Lab seeks a Senior Contract Manager to oversee government and commercial contracts from Tucson, AZ or Chantilly, VA. You will negotiate, administer, and interpret complex agreements while ensuring compliance and timely performance milestones.

You’ll collaborate with program teams, drive proposals, and manage contractual files. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in space/aerospace contract work, extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS, OTAs, and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI

Qualifications

Knowledge of government contracts and contract types, OTAs, FAR, and DFARS.
Experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
DoD prime contracts and/or subcontracts experience.
RFP analysis and proposal preparation experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Negotiate and administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements and IP licenses.
Review and interpret contract provisions and agreement types.
Analyze contract terms for implications and inform stakeholders and leadership.
Serve as primary customer interface for contractual compliance matters.
Assist proposal review and preparation in response to solicitations and RFIs.
Create and maintain contract and business files.
Maintain relationships with government and other customer counterparts.
Assist Accounts Receivable in generating invoices and payments.
