Job summary

Rocket Lab USA seeks a Senior Contract Manager to lead contract administration across government and commercial programs. You will negotiate terms, review provisions, and coordinate with program teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in contract management, with DoD experience and potential to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Base pay ranges reflect VA pay transparency and market standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of contract administration/management in Space or Aerospace & Defense industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Government contracts and contract types, OTAs, FAR, DFARS.
• Extensive knowledge and experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
• Experience managing DoD prime contracts and/or subcontracts supporting DoD programs.
• RFP analysis and proposal preparation experience.
• Top Secret/SCI security clearance capability.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer government contracts, commercial contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements and IP licenses.
• Review, interpret and advise on contract provisions and agreement types.
• Analyze model contract terms for implications on programs and the company.
• Serve as primary customer interface for contractual compliance (changes, disputes, EAA).
• Assist program and BD teams in proposal review in response to solicitations and RFIs.
• Create and maintain contract and business files.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government and other customer counterparts.
• Assist AR in generating invoices and payments with government/commercial customers.
