Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation seeks a Senior Contract Manager to lead contract administration for government and commercial programs at its Chantilly, VA location. You will negotiate, interpret, and manage complex contracts, ensuring compliance and timely performance while liaising with internal teams and external customers.

You will handle proposals, OTAs, and DFARS/FAR compliance, and support invoicing with the accounts receivable team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of contract administration and/or management experience in the Space and/or Aerospace & Defense industries.
Extensive knowledge of Government contracts and contract types, OTAs, the FAR/DFARS.
Extensive knowledge and experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
Experience managing DoD prime contracts and/or subcontracts supporting DoD programs.

Responsibilities

Negotiate and administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements and IP licenses.
Review, interpret and advise on contract provisions and agreement types.
Analyze contract terms for implications and communicate to stakeholders.
Serve as the primary interface for contractual compliance matters, including changes and disputes.
Assist proposals review and preparation for Government and commercial solicitations and RFIs.
Create and maintain contract and business files.
Maintain relationships with Government and other customer counterparts.
Assist Accounts Receivable with invoicing and payments.
