Job summary

Compass Group USA, Eurest unit, is hiring for a full-time Sous Chef at 31100 Edison Road, New Carlisle, IN 46552. Schedule is Monday–Friday; hours may vary. At least 5 years of experience required, with a $29.00 per hour fixed pay rate.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of kitchen/culinary experience.
• Experience coordinating cooks and food-service staff.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates.
• Stores food following food safety procedures.
• Maintains sanitation and proper food handling.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints.
• Oversees daily menu items and explains them to staff and customers.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; informs supervisor when supplies are low.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
