Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Sous Chef for the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse in Las Vegas. You will ensure top-tier food quality and deliver memorable guest experiences by leading a skilled kitchen team.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing requisitions, labeling for sanitation, maintaining base sauces and stocks, and collaborating with the Executive Chef on purchasing, inventory and scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory role in a kitchen
• Experience in high-volume restaurant production
• Hotel/casino environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Train Master Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers and Helpers
• Ensure requisitions are processed and stored properly
• Label and date all products for sanitation
• Maintain sauces, stocks and soups knowledge
• Maintain superior food quality and address issues promptly
• Coordinate with management and staff to fulfill guest needs
• Assist Executive Chef with purchasing, receiving and inventory
• Prepare and manage kitchen schedule
• Help set goals focusing on profit, product, and people
