Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound studies including abdomen, vascular and cardiac exams. The role requires reviewing patient history and orders, selecting appropriate transducers, and accurately labeling images for radiology records.

The candidate should have advanced training in sonography and strong knowledge of circuitry, anatomy, and QA processes. On-site position in Wisconsin with direct collaboration across imaging teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school via an accredited sonography program.
• Proficient in ultrasound modalities with emphasis on abdomen, vascular and/or cardiac.
• Candidates should have ARDMS RDMS or eligible credentials.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform abdominal, vascular and/or cardiac studies as required.
• Review medical records and physician orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Maintain accurate patient data and proper labeling of images for documentation.
