• Competency in general/vascular sonographic procedures.
• Ability to distinguish normal vs. pathologic findings using independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Reviews medical records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Positions patient and selects transducer and factors for accurate imaging.
• Identifies and labels images with patient details and scan location.
• Documents billing codes and enters data into RIS.
