Job summary

Advocate Health's Imaging Services department in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to perform abdomen, vascular and/or cardiac studies, and to mentor staff and students. The role requires ARDMS registrations and BLS, with a focus on accurate imaging and patient care.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with typical hours 7am–5pm, and offers comprehensive benefits as part of Advocate Health. Prior leadership or precepting responsibilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of anatomy including vascular/cardiology.
• Proficiency in two or more ultrasound procedures (abdomen, vascular, cardiac, general).
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and orient staff and students; guide performance and workflow.
• Assist in interviewing and staff development; address concerns and morale.
• Interpret department policies and manage routine operational changes.
