Job summary

OpsMx is seeking a high-caliber Senior Pre-sales/Solution Engineer in San Francisco to join the team. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, conducting analyses, and delivering compelling solutions and demonstrations to educate prospects.

The candidate will craft solutions with the sales team, scope PoCs, and respond to RFIs/RFPs, while supporting events and webinars. A strong background in pre-sales and DevOps is essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years of strong Pre-sales or Solution Engineering experience.
• Experience or exposure to DevOps.
• Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Post Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in qualification of customer needs and conduct needs analysis prior to demo.
• Product Demonstration
• Understand the prospect’s requirements and work with the sales team to write solutions.
• Create necessary documentation, presentations, and product demonstrations that help educate the customers.
• Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Pilot engagements with prospects.
• Help the sales team in responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents.
• Support events – webinars/conferences/shows.
