Job summary

F5, a leader in application services, seeks a Sr Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with deep technical knowledge of F5 solutions and the ecosystem, focusing on Federal Civilian Agencies.

You will deliver technical presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and mentor the sales team, guiding opportunities from qualification to sponsorship while collaborating with internal engineering and sales resources.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related industry experience.
• BS/BA in CS, EE, MIS or equivalent.
• Sales engineering experience.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP.
• Experience in traffic management and load-balancing technologies (F5, Citrix, NGINX, Kemp, or others).
• Experience with SaaS security.
• Experience supporting Federal Civilian Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning for customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, proofs of concepts by various mediums.
• Mentor and educate sales teams on value of F5 solutions and business drivers.
• Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure.
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager, identifying the Technical Decision Maker, getting their technical validation, support, and sponsorship.
• Consistently provide world-class customer service through the customer life cycle.
• Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, share best practices, updates, and seek expertise as needed in various opportunities.
