Job summary

F5 Networks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our sales organization. The SE will support the sales team with deep technical skills and knowledge of F5 solutions for federal civilian agency customers.

You will design solutions, deliver presentations and proof-of-concepts, and mentor the sales team on the value of F5 offerings. In this role you’ll articulate product strategy, drive opportunities, and collaborate with internal engineers and the Account Manager to close deals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related industry experience.
• BS/BA in CS, EE, MIS or equivalent.
• Sales Engineering experience.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP.
• Experience with traffic management and load-balancing tech (F5, Citrix, NGINX, Kemp or equivalents).
• Experience with SaaS security.
• Experience supporting Federal Civilian Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning.
• F5’s value proposition and solutions for customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through presentations, designs, demos, and POCs.
• Mentor sales teams on F5 solutions and business drivers.
• Determine viability of opportunities and map decision makers.
• Drive the sales process with Account Manager and obtain technical sponsorship.
• Deliver world-class customer service through the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal resources and share best practices.
