Job summary

F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with technical skills and knowledge of F5 solutions for our largest U.S. customers. The SE acts as a trusted adviser, delivering technical value and customer outcomes while driving the sales process with the Account Manager.

You will present technical features and business benefits, design solutions, and lead proof-of-concepts across multiple mediums. Training and certification are provided to stay current.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related industry experience.
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with F5 or similar industry solutions is a plus.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy and value propositions for customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
• Determine viability of opportunities and map organizational structure.
• Drive the sales process with the Account Manager and secure technical validation.
• Deliver world-class customer service throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams and share best practices.
• Serve as a technical expert for F5 Distributed Cloud solutions and security.
• Provide deep expertise in Web Application and API security for customers.
