Prophetic Software in Portland, OR is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to bridge product and customer needs across enterprise accounts. You will own technical discovery, customize demonstrations, answer complex questions, and guide onboarding while working with sales, product, and engineering.

This role offers high visibility in strategic deals, a chance to shape platform configurations, and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting at a B2B SaaS company.
• Strong technical fluency with APIs, databases, data pipelines, and system architecture.
• Experience leading technical discovery and enterprise product demos.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for C-suite audiences.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles with multi-stakeholder buying.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design for enterprise prospects during the sales cycle.
• Deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's workflows.
• Answer complex questions about platform architecture, data coverage, API capabilities, and integration options.
• Build proof-of-concept configurations and custom demos that showcase platform value for specific customer scenarios.
• Support enterprise onboarding by translating customer requirements into platform configurations, API integrations, and workflow setups.
• Partner with Account Management on technical escalations, data accuracy issues, and feature requests for strategic accounts.
• Serve as the technical voice of the customer — translating field insights into product requirements and engineering priorities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and solution architecture diagrams for enterprise customers.
• Travel to customer sites for in-person discovery sessions, onboarding, and strategic reviews.
• Leverage AI tooling daily for research, demo preparation, and technical documentation.
