Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales team. You will evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s Cyber Resilience and related tools to new and existing customers across the UKI region.

You will lead technical sales calls, demonstrate solutions, and collaborate with sales to drive regional revenue goals while ensuring customer success and protection of data assets.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment.
• Breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, "get it done" attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up.
• Strong business acumen and experience working with CxO level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in development of fully integrated technology solutions for pre-sales activities in the assigned market.
• Assists in analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrates technical leadership on Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the SAN space.
• Acts as technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions meeting technology and business requirements of customers.
• Makes technical and sales presentations to customers' technical staff and senior management.
• Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and internal resource on technical issues or business applications.
• Builds relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Leads technical sales calls and qualifies opportunities based on customer requirements, competition, decision making, and funding.
