Job summary

Laserfiche is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as technical lead on complex customer projects, from kickoff to delivery. You will partner with customers daily as a trusted advisor, translating business objectives into scalable solutions and owning end-to-end build, testing, and deployment.

You will mentor peers, drive AI-enabled automation responsibly, and collaborate across teams in a hybrid role based in Long Beach, CA with some travel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles (solutions engineering, presales, or similar).
• 4+ years with SaaS/enterprise software, cloud, or equivalent platforms.
• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and webhooks; one language such as .NET/C#, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts across business and technical audiences.
• Bonus: content management or low-code/no-code automation experience.
• Bonus: hands-on with agentic AI and MCP servers; track record of AI in delivery.
• Experience with application development and modern SDLCs.
• Familiarity with information security standards or compliance frameworks (CJIS, FedRAMP/GovRAMP, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate into solution designs and delivery plans end-to-end.
• Own technical documentation for each project (system, end-user, test plans).
• Provide troubleshooting, training and support for customers.
• Escalation point for project challenges and stakeholder updates.
• Conduct design, scoping and technical reviews for other projects.
• Share expertise with the team through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to build or enhance internal tools and AI-powered solutions.
