BetterUp in the United States seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer to own large, strategic opportunities—from discovery through handoff—working with CIO, CISO, and VP Engineering buyers.

You will craft ROI narratives, build reusable SE assets, and mentor the SE team while shaping AI-enabled platform strategies across enterprise deals. This hybrid role offers hub locations and nationwide remote options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Solutions Engineering or related roles in enterprise SaaS.
• Experience leading complex deals with CIO/CISO-level buyers.
• Deep knowledge of HRIS, LMS, SSO, and API integrations.
• Strong ROI and business-case storytelling for CFO/COO audiences.
• Experience building SE team infrastructure and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical architect on high-value opportunities, owning pre-sales from discovery to handoff.
• Own peer-level relationships with CIO, CISO, and VP Engineering buyers.
• Build the business case in CFO/COO terms and position the platform accordingly.
• Anticipate integration, security, and feasibility challenges and provide structured recommendations.
• Define and maintain reusable SE assets and patterns to uplift the team.
• Lead the SE function's AI and automation strategy and mentor junior SEs.
