Job summary
BetterUp is seeking an experienced Principal Solutions Engineer to own enterprise engagements and advise the executive team on platform strategy, integration roadmaps, and security narratives. You will bring an external network of CIO/CISO-level contacts to accelerate deals and shape GTM motion across multinational deployments.

Qualifications
- 15+ years in Solutions Engineering, Pre‑Sales or Technical Consulting.
- External reputation in enterprise SE or HR Tech, credible with CIO/CISO/CTO level.
- Rolodex of C‑suite/ VP Eng relationships across enterprise HR tech.
- Proven ability to advise executives on platform strategy and GTM motion.
Responsibilities
- Serve as single‑threaded owner for Fortune 100 deployments and complex engagements.
- Advise ELT on platform strategy, integration roadmap, and SE function design.
- Leverage external networks to accelerate enterprise pipeline and deals.
- Define integration and security narratives at industry level for buyers.
- Counsel on enterprise buyer trends and IT purchasing behavior evolution.
- Lead company‑wide SE initiatives, including tooling and coverage models.
- Establish BetterUp as a thought leader through speaking and writing.
- Mentor SE leaders and attract top talent across GTM.
