Job summary

Coder is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team and partner with Account Executives to qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 prospects, guiding them through demos, architecture discussions, and proofs-of-concept that prove Coder’s value for both human developers and the AI coding agents working alongside them.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in Solutions Engineering for infrastructure or developer tooling.
Strong customer-facing skills that earn trust with technical stakeholders.
Ability to translate hurdles into business value in real time.
Understanding of agentic AI software development use cases.
Comfort leading architecture demos and deep-dive troubleshooting.
Deep Linux fundamentals and command-line proficiency.
3+ years hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
3+ years with Terraform or similar IaC tooling.
Solid networking knowledge (ingress, proxies, load balancers).
Experience with AI tooling at user and infra level and related LLM tooling.

Responsibilities

Own the technical relationship with prospects through pre-sales toward a technical win.
Demo the Coder platform for developers, admins, and AI workflow perspectives.
Install Coder on cloud and on-prem Kubernetes or VM infrastructure.
Run proofs-of-concept including agentic/LLM-driven workflows to accelerate deals.
Capture insights for Engineering and Product and track issues.
